These images were all taken during a voyage of the MV Explorer, as part of the Semester-at-Sea program, during a trip up the Amazon to the city of Manaus. I was able to take a day tour of the nearby area including the meeting of the waters, where the Rio Negro and Amazon Rivers converge and also some of the surrounding area. I also took a couple of short ventures into the city itself.
