Prince William Sound is located on the coast of the Gulf of Alaska, and stretches roughly from the towns of Whittier to Valdez. It is famous for the many glaciers and wildlife such as whales and otters. It struck tragedy with the Exxon Valdez oil spill, but has finally mostly recovered from that.
