The Galapagos are under the control of Ecuador, but because the are unique, I have included them in their own section. A visit there provides a rare close-up wildlife experience, with animals and birds that are not afraid of humans. My visit here was hampered by a film camera that was not working properly - the shutter kept sticking, making uneven exposures and most of the images had the shutter stuck most of the way through. Here are the images that did come out. These have been scanned from slide film.
