Valdez is on the eastern end of Prince William Sound. It was rebuilt in a new location after being devastated by the great earthquake and again suffered hard times with the Exxon Valdez oil spill. Many say it is the prettiest town in Alaska. I have never been there on a clear day, so I can't really say.
