Singapore is a very small and prosperous country in southeast Asia at the tip of the Malaysian Peninsula. It is a melting pot of various Asian and European cultures, and lately has been a hotbed of architectural creativity. It is known for its interesting laws and harsh punishment, though that is also why it is such a clean and safe place. I spent a good portion of a day there and although it rained very heavily for part of the time, it turned out to be a much more interesting place than I had expected.
