I worked at UC Davis in November and December 2011 and the winter/Spring of 2013. It is a large campus with some interesting architecture and there is a beautiful arboretum along Putah Creek including a grove of Redwoods that were planted in the 1940s. There were some occupy movement and campus protests while I was there, including the now-famous pepper-spraying incident. But there is a lot more to this campus than that.
