Segesta was an ancient Greek community with a great view out over the surrounding countryside. Today, all that really remains is the theater and an unfinished temple. Because of its remoteness, it does not appear that a lot of it was removed for building other structures as happened to so many other ruins. The beautiful architecture in combination with such an impressive setting makes it a very interesting place to see.
